100% Whey Protein Gold Standard Protein Powder Review
Protein powders are a huge part of my work out routine and my daily diet, and should be a must on your list to do to. Protein powders come in so many different forms though so which protein powder works the best, I will start doing some protein powder reviews based on my experienceand to help make your decision on which protein powder is best for you.
100% Whey Protein Gold Standard contains 24 grams of protein, only 2-3 grams of carbohydrates, 1.5 grams of fat and minimal lactose will cost around $40 and is available in Double Rich Chocolate, Chocolate Mint, Cookies and Cream, Strawberry and Vanilla.
It tasted a bit gross with just plain water, but when I added it to a cup of soy milk, I couldn’t tell the difference between it and a chocolate milk shake. Gold Standard 100% did mix pretty well, and though that doesn’t seem important it is some proteins just don’t mix well and will clump up or just sit in the bottom of your container, to expensive to waste so how the powder dissolves is important. One problem that I have with this product is that it does use artificial sweeteners, and if your on a strict diet that may be a red flag to avoid. Overall I think 100% Whey Protein Gold Standard is very good and I recommend it to my clients all the time.
