SHAPE AND FIRM THE BUTT WITH THE PROPER SQUAT
Women everywhere are concerned with shaping and tightening the butt muscles, as a personal trainer I get this question allot. It’s a good question because what woman wouldn’t want a nice firm and shapely butt.
In my experience the butt area is considered a so called problem areafor a lot of women that step into my gym. The female body is built to carrie fat deposits in this area, and if were to get rid of them it is gonna take work, but what are the best exercises to shape and firm the butt ?
There are some great routines to firm up your sagging behind, if you willing to work hard having a butt you can be proud of is very possible, in my opinion here’s the best exercises for working out the butt muscles.
My Favourite Butt Exercise The Squat
Squats are the best exercise you can do for strengthening your butt, they also tone and shape the thighs as well as the butt muscles. If your a women looking for a killer bottom, then you need to learn how to do a proper squat.

Women Of All Ages Can Do The Squat
To do a correct squat you first stand holding a barbell
, you want it resting on your upper traps and shoulders, keep your hands and feet a little bit wider than shoulder width, your feet should be angled slightly outward. Now you want to pull your shoulders back while contracting your lower back muscles, now breath in deeply and hold it. Keep your eyes straight ahead, slowly bending the knees, lower yourself until your thighs are just above being parallel to the ground. Never bounce at the bottom of the squat, our goal is to do a correct squat not cheat or hurt ourselves. The final step is too simply push through your heels to driving yourself back up to the starting position, make sure you are contracting your gluteus muscles (buttocks) on the way up. You will want to exhale as you pass the halfway point of your squat, breathing is important. This is one rep, repeat this step 8 to 12 times for 3 Set’s.
Doing squats are on my list of favourite exercises, because they work!! And if your a women that wants a butt to die for you need to learn how to do a correct squat. I see many people cheating themselves and getting injured with the squat exercise. Never lift more weight than you can handle. And use a spotter, don’t be afraid to ask for help.
