Eating the wrong foods while your stressed, over time can raise your risk of high blood pressure, cause heart disease, and yes make you fat, being stressed out seems to come easy these day’s, what with the economy and all the bills that are not getting paid. Feeling stressed drink milk, when I was a kid my mom made me drink warm milk for my insomnia and restlessness, who knew she was right. Turns out calcium can lessen muscle spasms and help ease body tension. A glass of warm milk (I recommend skim or 1 percent) may also reduce stressful Premenstrual syndrome (PMS) symptoms such as sadness, restlessness, and even irritability. According to a study done in 05 from the Archives of Internal Medicine, women who drank at least 4 servings of skim milk each day had a 47% lower risk of premenstrual misery than women who drank no more than 1 glass of milk per week.

Feel your blood pressure rising eating avacados is one of the top ways to reduce a women’s high blood pressure, according to the NHLB Institute, is to get plenty of potassium, avacados are loaded with monounsaturated fat and potassium which will lower your blood pressure. Did you know just 1/2 an avocado offers 487 milligrams of potassium. Feel like your to ready to snap, reach for a handful of vitamin B, yep almonds are loaded with vitamin B and vitamin E. And both vitamins will boost up your immune system. About a 1/4 cup of nuts each day is all you need. Here’s another tip, instead of eating regular peanut butter, switch to peanut butter made from almond butter on days your really stressed out. Pistachios and walnuts work well too, adding a cup to your cereal or sprinkling the nuts on your salad is an easy and fast way to keep your stress levels under control.
