Why Eating Less Causes Weight Gain

In the hope of speeding up there metabolism, women have been even eating smaller amounts more often through out the day, yet they still gain weight. The metabolism is very complicated, it’s like trying to figure out how to tune your car, if your not a mechanic it can be tricky.  What you need to understand is,  fat is not metabolically active. Fat cells do not burn a whole lot of calories. Muscle, burns calories. Consider that a pound of muscle while resting burns about  50 calories throughout the day, that amount  rises when the you are active, that’s why lying around the house makes us fat.  During a normal lazy day on the couch a pound of fat at rest will only burn about  2 calories a day, yes I said TWO!!!  So women with more muscle , burn more calories  every minute, every hour, every day, muscles burn calories not fat, it’s just that simple.

Why diets don’t cause weight loss, if you eat less, you’ll body will start burning calories at a slower rate.  With all this being said, whats a girl to do? Reducing your calorie intake by 20 %  or more below what your body needs to function normally will only ”SLOW” your metabolism. It’s better to reduce your calorie intake a little at a time and maintain your metabolism with fitness routines (remember, muscle burns calories) you must workout, to lose weight and speed that metabolism. Don’t want to go to a gym, why not run, ride a bike , even taking a walk will help speed your metabolism. Women who do any kind of regular, exercise  such as  30-minutes on a treadmill 3 times a week speed up there metabolism and burn about 100 more calories a day than women who just exercise without really working up a good sweat. The point is the more strenuous the workout and the more muscle you gain the more calories you’ll burn and the more your metabolism will respond.

Now you can allways just pop a pill and speed up your metabolism, but do so at your own risk!! Women can do it on there own,.. we are strong,.. we are determined and we won’t be denied, Ha!! But really just find a workout routine you’ll enjoy, that way your likely to stick with it, gain some muscle and exercise hard, you”ll see the result’s, trust me it’s no secret, losing weight is hard but millions of women do it every day, and you can too!!!.
