We put fat creams to the test

Do so called fat loss creams work, and I am very skeptical about their effectiveness. Do you know of any clinical evidence to show that fat loss creams really work? If they do work, I am a 40 pound over weight female and I think I would be the perfect candidate, I just don’t want to waste my hard earned money.

O.K let’s look at the fat loss creams in more detail. Way back in the late eighties a study revealed the effectiveness of a transdermal (through the skin) yohimbe, forskolin, and aminophylline mixture. Then this caused everyone and their brother to jump on the weight loss cream bandwagon. The problem with this is, companies who don’t know anything about manufacturing weight loss supplements, slap a cheap formula together and put it on some infomercial… telling everyone about this great weight loss study in a misleading attempt to sell their product.

Another problem I see is that even the legit supplement and weight loss cream companies, who can get the formula right, still have to find a way to effectively get the active ingredients in the cream into your skin. That’s not as simple of a task as you would think. If your skin just absorbed everything you touched, you would be dead, or at the very least in big trouble!

But to answer your question, there are effective weight loss creams and gels on the market. You must make sure you are are buying the right combination of active ingredients and that they are effectively being digested through your skin. The tricky part is to find a legitimate weight loss company to buy your cream or gel from. How do you know who’s legit? You can always start by calling them, most will have a operator on call 24/7 – ask them why and how their formula works. Make sure they have a decent return policy just in case their creams don’t live up to your expectations. The person should be a well informed person, not some low level order taker who can’t answer your questions or be held responsible if the product does mislead you.

But YES there are clinical studies that have shown that transdermal fat loss creams do work. But if you see it on a 3 am TV infomercial, it’s likely a waste of money to buy there product, and when you try calling them, if they cant answer your questions, don’t waste your money their product… period.
