Drinking enough water is really important for your body’s health, but especially when the body may be exposed to the flu, Always drink at least two liters of water each day.

The immune system needs vitamins, by digesting more vitamins, especially vitamin C, you can reduce the chances of getting sick by 49%. Lemon is a great source of vitamin that will fight against the flu and common cold. Try drinking a glass of hot lemon juice, or just a couple of drops of lemon juice in a cup of hot tea can help your body fight off the flu.

Cigarettes slows blood circulation as well so quit smoking! Cigarettes increase the chances of getting to many diseases to list, but they will cause the flu, or at least make it more likely you’ll get sick this year, and it’s a nasty habit. Keeping warm should start with the feet, cold feet will cause the flu, so layer the clothes and put on two pairs of socks, this will help keep you flu free in a big way.

Did you know saunas can strengthen the body and help prevent the flu. Saunas can help train your body’s blood vessels. Can’t make it to a sauna try changing temperatures when you shower from hot to cold. Hot showers open your blood vessels but always end showers with colder temperatures.

Your body needs sufficient oxygen to fight off bacteria and viruses that can cause the flu. Try walking to the gym or parking a block away, the fresh air after a hard workout will help strengthen your immune system.
